Program

Even though the Adventurer’s Summit 2025 is still a few months away, we would still like to give you an insight into what to expect at this event. Joint activities, simply being together and exchanging ideas with one another are the top priority for the meeting, and we hope that everyone involved will enjoy it as much as we do.

Below is a summary of the planned program for this year’s summit.

 

Friday, 12th September 2025

Arrival at the “Hotel Zum Schwanen” during the afternoon. The arrival of all attendees is planned / favoured for the afternoon.

  • from 3 pm Check in at the hotel possible
  • 6 pm Official Welcome in the main event room of the hotel
  • 7.30 pm Welcome dinner buffet
  • from 9.30 pm Cozy get-together with various program tidbits

 

Saturday, 13th September 2025

  • From 8.00 am Breakfast
  • approx. 9:30 a.m. departure to Burg Castle
  • approx. 10:00 a.m. Visit to Castle Castle & photo session
  • approx. 12:15h cable car ride to the Lower Castle Church / Whip Cracking Activity
  • approx. 1:30 p.m. return transfer to the hotel
  • approx. 2:00 p.m. BBQ in the hotel (vegetarian alternatives available)
  • from 3:30 p.m. Presentation of an Indiana Jones short novel by author André Milewski
  • 4:30 p.m. Time to take a breather
  • 5:30 p.m. Departure for the gala dinner
  • 6:00 p.m. Arrival at the historic town hall in Wuppertal and the evening program begins
  • 7:30 p.m. Gala Dinner Buffet
  • 9:00 p.m. Various program items
  • 10:30 p.m. Raffle in aid of the UKHF Charity
  • 1:00 am end of the gala evening and return transfer to the hotel
  • from 1:30 a.m. end of the evening at the hotel bar

Sunday, 14th September 2025

  • until 10:00 a.m. late breakfast
  • 10:00 a.m. Shared bus transfer to the Blade Museum in Solingen
  • 10:30 a.m. Private tour of the Blade Museum in Solingen
  • 12:30h return transfer to the hotel
  • 1:00 p.m. Screening of an Indiana Jones documentary by Jürgen Mathy
  • 2:00 p.m. End of the screening and farewell
  • 2:30 p.m. End of the event

 

Organisation

As with all previous summits, this time it should be made very clear that participation in every program item is on a voluntary basis, although we hope for active participation.
This year there will once again be a donation towards expenses, which will cover both the majority of the meals and the program items. Setting such a contribution towards expenses per person helps us to plan the event better in advance.

 

Gala-Dinner

Please don’t let the word “Gala Dinner” put you off on Saturday evening. We made sure that this event is affordable for everyone.
